Have a Problem?
When homeowners experience problems with their systems they should contact those in the supply chain such as, system designer, specifier, supplier and installer. If they receive no satisfaction they should contact their Local Authority.
Notwithstanding the Water Services Act making the homeowner liable for pollution problems, the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, General Product Safety and Consumer Protection Regulations provide protection for homeowners by making everyone in the chain of supply legally liable.
This would also involve the Local Authority where they have conditioned the guidance to be followed.
So where people are having problems and they cannot get satisfaction they should be advised to seek legal advice for redress.
